Tasks

Overseeing all the operational activities within a stockyard. Planning, coordination, cost control, and ensuring a safe work environment with leadership skills, management knowledge, and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth functioning of the stockyard. -Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. -Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues. -Ensure accuracy in documenting stock movements and transactions. -Devise and implement strategies to optimize stockyard space and organization. -Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. -Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. -Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible. -Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions. -Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. -Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services. -Collaborate with inventory control personnel to maintain precise records. -Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks. -Organize and oversee activities associated with the loading, unloading, and storage of materials. -Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment. -Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates. -Generate daily reports detailing stockyard activities, encompassing inventory levels, shipments, and incidents. -Training subordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively. -Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work. -Monitor stock levels and oversee inventory movement.
