Tasks

Provide engineering and technical project support to Project Managers and site Construction team as part of the site Transition programme. Translate project scopes and SOR documents into detailed deliverables and drive completion of site Management of Change documentation. Manage technical queries, support contractors in execution of critical work scopes, and ensure safe, compliant and timely delivery of key projects to enable the Terminal Transition. -Attend daily/weekly site coordination meetings, issue action items and follow up to closure. -Review supplier/vendor documentation (MTRs, certificates, test reports), raise non-conformances and support corrective actions. -Engage in site Completions and Commissioning process, ensure Completions documents are prepared adequately in line with MOC requirements. -Support Project Managers and Construction Supervisors in contractor supervision, progress monitoring, and ensuring contractors meet scope, quality and schedule. -Raise, manage and close technical queries (TQs) and RFI responses in a timely manner. -Develop scopes of work and RFQ documents to facilitate tender issues for new work packages. Review and provide technical input on tender responses. -Take ownership of site Management of Change (PMP) process for selected projects - manage PMP documentation to completion. -Ensure queries and emergent technical issues resulting from ongoing site Construction work are resolved promptly and in line with site and industry best practices. -Take ownership of engineering documentation associated with live Transition projects – manage multi-discipline document registers through full project life cycle and ensure contractor deliverables are met. -Ensure Project Engineering works meet statutory/regulatory requirements (COMAH, DSEAR, ATEX, PUWER, COSHH, etc.) and site standards -Engage with site Discipline Engineering team and ensure detailed engineering designs are reviewed and technical queries/clarifications closed out in alignment with project schedules. -Support permit to work processes and site safety assurance for engineering activities. -Support Project Managers across a variety of multi-discipline CAPEX projects focussing on brownfield Transition / modification scope by providing Technical Governance and multi-discipline engineering input. -Develop and implement Construction lookaheads and ensure field construction scopes are targeted towards achieving critical project milestones.

Experience required in Mechanical / Piping or E&I disciplines in Construction Duration – 8 months Our client has a contract opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join them on an 8 month contract. Offered on a PAYE basis.
