EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE — High School diploma or GED and one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS — Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurements, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY — Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to understand branch and industry standards in identification, measurement, repairs, replacements, and modification of products. TOOLS USED —Include but are not limited to: chop saw, table saw, rip saw, hand saw; router, nail gun, screw gun, door machine, various pneumatic tools, and drills. -Read and understand Huttig Building Products work orders. -Learn to fabricate and assemble single pre-hung interior and exterior door units. -Read and understand a tape measure.
