What You Bring

🧱 Skilled in design assessment of plant and equipment to withstand hazards 🤝 Experienced in contributing to multi-disciplinary engineering projects Sole UK National, Security Clearance required to start. 🔧 Proficient in pipe stress analysis 📘 Strong understanding of British & European design standards and best practices 🎯 Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline 🧾 Capable of producing robust technical justifications and documentation for design modifications in high-hazard industries 🏗️ Experience in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defence), including safety-related structures, systems & components 🔍 Familiarity with HAZID/HAZOP and safety case development 🔩 Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in industrial plant and machinery environments ☢️ Willingness to complete a Nuclear Introductory Course within 6 months (if from a non-nuclear background) 🎓 Engineering Degree (BEng/MEng) ☢️ Previous experience in high-risk or nuclear environments ⚙️ Practical experience across concept, detailed design, and construction stages (preferably industrial or maritime projects) 🏅 Chartered Engineer (CEng) status 🧑‍🔧 Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience 📖 Knowledge of UK and US nuclear regulations, codes, and standards Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance.
