🧱 Skilled in design assessment of plant and equipment to withstand hazards 🀝 Experienced in contributing to multi-disciplinary engineering projects Sole UK National, Security Clearance required to start. πŸ”§ Proficient in pipe stress analysis πŸ“˜ Strong understanding of British & European design standards and best practices 🎯 Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline 🧾 Capable of producing robust technical justifications and documentation for design modifications in high-hazard industries πŸ—οΈ Experience in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defence), including safety-related structures, systems & components πŸ” Familiarity with HAZID/HAZOP and safety case development πŸ”© Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in industrial plant and machinery environments ☒️ Willingness to complete a Nuclear Introductory Course within 6 months (if from a non-nuclear background) πŸŽ“ Engineering Degree (BEng/MEng) ☒️ Previous experience in high-risk or nuclear environments βš™οΈ Practical experience across concept, detailed design, and construction stages (preferably industrial or maritime projects) πŸ… Chartered Engineer (CEng) status πŸ§‘β€πŸ”§ Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience πŸ“– Knowledge of UK and US nuclear regulations, codes, and standards Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance.
