Tasks
-Conduct an Energize CT home energy assessment. -Confirm the customer’s interests in add-on measures. -Organize and guide customer through paperwork processes. -Manually seal leaky ductwork. -Utilize energy efficiency software to model homes and generate comprehensive energy savings reports. -Provide exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits. -Collaborate with internal divisions to cross-sell products and services. -Mentor and supervise your assistant technician. -Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. -Use effective sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals. -Continually improve product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing learning, including staying informed on the latest energy-saving options and technologies. -This is also a hybrid/remote role in which you will report directly to customer sites from your home office. Occasional travel to the Fairfield, CT office will be required. -Test homes with diagnostic equipment such as Blower Doors, Duct Blasters, Trueflow, and Combustion safety tests -Assist with blower door guided air sealing when possible. -Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation, windows, and high-efficiency HVAC systems. -Install low flow water fixtures, pipe wrap insulation where applicable.

-Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. -Basic computer skills required. -Outgoing, flexible, and personable demeanor. -Must work independently as the role is primarily field based. -This job will require travel in a personal or company-provided vehicle. -Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. -While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces. The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds, and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, stand on roofs, and move up and down stairs safely. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and time management skills. -Valid driver’s license. -Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills. -Lead Tech certified or previous Lead Tech certification through Energize CT program.
