Tasks
-Develop, strengthen and grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service-oriented approach -Maintain a professional demeanor with coworkers and clients -Conduct thorough engagement reviews -Increase office profitability by managing your time and the time of Staff and Senior Accountants efficiently, contributing ideas and adding value -Promote the Firm’s image by participating on conference panels, contributing to Firm publications, attending recruiting events, conducting in-house and client trainings, etc. -Find opportunities to turn acquired technical knowledge into high value-added opportunities for Firm clients -Assist Principals and Partners with identifying, meeting with and pursuing new clients. -Complete annual performance evaluations for assigned staff and manage employee performance conversations -Supervise and mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants and Staff, including guiding and educating them in technical areas, identifying professional development opportunities and maintaining a respectful team atmosphere -Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, technical issues and other decisions. Oversee completion of engagements, including identifying and solving problem areas during the engagement, with minimal oversight or assistance

What You Bring
-Perform work accurately and in a time-efficient manner with strong attention to detail -Ability to effectively prioritize a fast-paced and varied workload, effectively manage a variety of concurrent and shifting priorities -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -CPA license required. -Ability to work collaboratively and foster a productive, team-oriented environment -Available to work evenings and weekends based on position needs and to travel domestically if required -Able to gain the confidence of the existing Partner group -Ability to meet internal Firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.) -Strong organizational and follow-through skills -Ability to accept constructive feedback from Partner group and make adjustments as directed -Exhibit expert understanding of accounting rules -Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus), and 3-7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience. -Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) and report writing tools
