Tax Manager

Overview

Lead tax team, prepare/review corporate and partnership returns, and conduct tax research.

Tasks

-Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal and state tax topics -Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations; performance in-depth tax search, deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations -Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns and related extensions and estimates -Answer ad-hoc tax-related inquiries and handle federal, state and local tax notices -Supervise a motivated team of professionals and ensure that they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential. -Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality

What You Bring

-Experience managing a team -ProSystem fx Engagement experience is a plus -Public accounting experience required -5+ years of experience in federal and state income tax prep -Excellent research, writing and communication skills -CCH Axcess tax experience preferred -CPA preferred -Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision experience -Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills -BA/BS degree in Accounting, or Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation -Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
