  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Escalate issues to the Technical Supervisor/Operations Manager for work which is high priority and or compliance related
  • Create and update maintenance plans in SAP PM, reviewing all planned work requests from assigned area and determining validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.
  • Update and maintain SAP PM for DOT regulated inspections
  • Travel to assigned areas as needed to assist operations with SAP PM
  • Develops a preliminary workforce schedule by technician ensuring all skills (Operator Qualifications) requirement and resource availability is met
  • Assist with submission of request for Master Data in SAP PM
  • Creation and submission of DOT, PM, and Corrective Work Order Backlog Reports to all management on a weekly basis
  • Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
  • Maintain documentation for processes being utilized in SAP PM
  • Follow up and communicating schedule to all resources: maintenance, production, outside services, stores, and engineering
  • Assist operations with building and maintaining company functional locations, systems, sub-systems and equipment structure in SAP PM
  • Provide support, testing and validation for upgrades to SAP PM
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Assist operations by assigning scheduled maintenances within SAP PM, reviewing work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion dates, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
  • Working with Operations to define valid work requests per company standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, maintenance standards and procedures or site specific requirements and prioritizing, planning and scheduling, including following-up on accuracy of job plans. Proactively engaging with Operations management and personnel to optimize workforce and minimize downtime by planning and managing work in advance.
  • Actively participating in scheduling meetings with operation partners to finalize priority of work orders, minimize downtime windows, and necessary lead times
  • Troubleshoot technical SAP PM issues as they arise
  • Primary contact and liaison between maintenance and operations planning, ensuring the area, department, or facility in which they are assigned receive professional maintenance service in a timely manner to ensure high equipment availability and performance.

  • The Senior Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • Knowledge of general CMMS system structure, functionality, navigation and reporting capability
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of total work days for data gathering, audits, meetings and training
  • General software computer skills necessary to support the configuration, implementation and use of SAP PM
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and minimal supervision
  • Conceive, design and deliver highly specialized technical training on SAP PM
  • The Lead Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
  • Understanding responsibilities of Planner/Scheduler
  • CMMS database experience, SAP PM (5+ years preferred)
  • Can meet requirements of state and federal regulations governing vehicle operations
  • Experience with regulatory compliance or other schedule-driven maintenance activities related to equipment and work order management
  • Possess analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • The Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
