The Role

Overview

Designs, delivers, and manages training programs for Kiewit Power Constructors district staff.

Tasks

-Responsible for the development of the District Development Plan -Partner with corporate Talent Development to execute established staff and craft training programs in the districts -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Work closely with the Power Market HR Business Partners to execute the Training Plan outlined on the District Business Plan -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Responsible for coordination and continuous improvement of the Power New Hire and Core Course programs: -Travel up to 50% of the time to facilitate on-site training -Use data-driven analysis to identify training gaps and areas of improvement -Hold projects accountable to rotations program, training plans and People Wall management -Act as a consultant during business planning to incorporate solutions to identified training gaps

-Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills -Regular, reliable attendance -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Project Engineer Training -Ability to confidently speak and teach in the classroom environment -Field Engineering Training -Experience in delivering presentations, experience in delivering training in-person, virtual and hybrid classrooms preferred -Fundamental understanding of the Adult Learning Model preferred -Various experience in operations, learning management and/or teaching preferred. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -5+ years of experience working in a leadership role, training and developing individuals -Senior Operations Training -Strong team player and attitude to help others -Construction operations experience is helpful for this role.
