Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders
Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversight
Partner with Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development teams to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering Division strategy
Mentor staff, ensuring consistent application of Parkhill’s keystone habits and technical excellence
Develop, grow, and lead the Albuquerque Water Resources practice, building expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, conveyance, storage, groundwater, and water/wastewater treatment
Represent the firm as a technical expert in client meetings, interviews, and industry forums
Collaborate across office locations to leverage Parkhill’s collective water resources expertise

Proven success in practice growth, client development, and business acquisition
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources and/or water/wastewater treatment
Strong technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, water/wastewater, and related civil engineering solutions
Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in New Mexico
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate their observations to design a system that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
Detailed understanding of engineering project management methos with the ability to plan a project from start to finish, considering time, cost, and resources
Experience working with state, regional, and/pr public agencies – municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and/or state agencies
Expert level knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
