Tasks

-Effectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of duties -Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades -Assist MEP Manager to provide conflict resolution for MEP issues -Assist in conducting project meetings and record minutes -Assist coordinating and supporting third party commissioning activities -Update project schedule, establish overall project logistics -Track and coordinate equipment deliveries -Assist in coordinating and tracking critical path construction and startup activities -Manage commissioning documentation -Assist in developing an MEP critical path schedule -Ensure that required documentation is filed -Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project -Assist in coordinating and managing the quality control process for MEP systems construction -Assist in managing the closeout process -Maintain adherence to HITT’s standards of safety -Review mechanical and electrical submittals -Assist in managing startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems

What You Bring

-Aptitude for problem solving -Strong leadership skills; able to build and lead a team -2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor -Ability to recognize and seek quality -Willingness to travel -Strong communication skills; verbal and written -Ability to work independently -High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
