Tasks

-Fieldwork on exciting projects, and client secondment opportunities. -Advising and delivering Management Plans -Working within and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across a range of sectors -Conducting Audits & REF’s and delivering clear and precise, high-quality reports -Assisting Project Management/ running your own projects on interesting environmental projects across multiple industries -Providing advice regarding best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles to clients and internal SLR team members

What You Bring

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Environmental Consultant to join our internationally recognised Environmental Approvals, Closure & Management team based in Newcastle. Unsolicited resumes from recruitment consultants will not be accepted. You must be part of the preferred supplier agreement list which is coordinated through our Talent Acquisition team. Articulate, motivated and reliable, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in consulting, government or industry. You will enjoy undertaking project work, fieldwork, environmental impact assessments & audits throughout the region. You will also collaborate on projects and initiatives with the national EAC&M Group (circa 70 staff across 10 offices) and other teams within our multi-disciplinary business. -Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia -Experience in the linear infrastructure, renewables, power and/or agribusiness sectors will be highly regarded -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -A degree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Environmental Engineering or a related field -Experience and competence in the Field as well as the office. -Demonstrated knowledge of NSW & Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies, standards and guidelines. -Impact Assessment Expertise -Minimum of 4 years' experience in environmental consulting
