Tasks
-Review and verify employee timecards, job codes, and project allocations for accuracy. -Prepare payroll-related reports for management and support internal audits. -Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and ensure prevailing wage compliance. -Process payroll tax payments and assist with quarterly and annual filings. -Reconcile payroll reports and support accounting with payroll-related journal entries. -Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping. -Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and direct deposit information. -Assist with new hire onboarding, terminations, and benefits administration. -Administer weekly and biweekly payroll for both field and office employees.

What You Bring
The Payroll Administrator will manage the end-to-end payroll process, maintain employee data, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. -Strong understanding of payroll practices, federal and Arizona state labor laws, and certified payroll reporting. -Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction or general contracting industry. -Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities. -Advanced Excel skills and keen attention to detail. -Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. -Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar systems).
