Tasks

As an Assistant Construction Project Manager at Elmington Construction you will help deliver projects according to their plans, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, selections and specifications, with the right attitude, courtesy and professionalism as it relates to their team, subcontractors and customers. -Takes meeting minutes for subcontractor and OAC meetings. Assists with the preparation and distribution of all meeting materials including the agenda, minutes, action items, etc. -Manages job closeout tracking/documentation process -Manages RFI process and tracking log -Assists in project coordination meetings -Assists with financials of project including subcontractor PCOs, vendor invoices, subcontractor payment applications -Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent with project startup activities -Creates and manages other tracking logs such as concrete, stone, lumber, etc. -Manages submittal process and material procurement -Frequently sit, stand and walk.

The Elmington Construction Experience Have a tireless work ethic Be self-sufficient and self-motivated -Regularly required to talk or hear. -Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary. -Demonstrates adherence to EC policy and processes and teaches EC policy and processes to new team members -Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. -Exceptional verbal and written communication skills -Schedule driven -Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently. -*Proficient with Procore* -Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Time management skills -Problem solver -Communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with team members and leadership. -Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. -Understands & assists in development, planning, and updating of project schedule -A Degree in a Construction related program is preferred, but not required if experience levels are high -Understands, models & enforces Elmington's safety standards
