The Role
Overview
Manage construction projects for rockfall mitigation and slope stabilization in the Western US.

Tasks
-Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders -Prepare and maintain project budgets, timelines, and schedules -Review and approve design and construction documents, ensuring that they meet project specifications and requirements -Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the construction process -Communicate project progress to senior management and other stakeholders -Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time -Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation -Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors -Conduct site inspections and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and building codes -Ensure that projects are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Geology or Construction management or equivalent experience -Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially in Excel. -The ability to travel up to 40%; PM's typically travel for job set-up, to solve specific client or other challenges -Ability to read, analyze and interpret, technical procedures, or government regulations. -Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling methods and working knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera scheduling software. -Exceptional written and oral communications skills required. -Experience using Vista or other financial systems. -Minimum of 2 years of related field and project management experience. Management of GCS, Soil Nail, and HBSN projects preferred. -Ability to develop and interpret project budgets and P&L statements -Possess a solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment to ensure that the project is completed correctly. -Possess a strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations to ensure that everyone on the project is working safely. -Experience with managing projects with Union crew labor. -Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers/clients. -PMP Certification is preferred -Experienced with Lean approaches to process improvements and problem solving.
