Tasks
-Provide discreet but effective protective coverage during public appearances, speaking engagements, and corporate events. -Conduct regular performance evaluations and compliance checks. -Lead and oversee security operations in support of global executive protection efforts. -Include mission objectives, team assignments, communication protocols, contingency plans, and intelligence summaries. -Monitor and analyze potential threats, including geopolitical, reputational, and physical risks. -Maintain active liaison with the designated cybersecurity lead, to monitor and address digital threats directed towards Otis executives. -Coordinate with facilities and IT teams to integrate physical and cyber security measures. -Uphold strict confidentiality regarding personal and professional activities. -Coordinate with event organizers, venue security, and law enforcement to establish secure perimeters and emergency evacuation plans. -Maintain a roster of approved EP personnel and ensure readiness for rapid deployment. -Monitor crowd behavior, access control, and potential threat indicators in real time. -Conduct regular audits and drills to ensure systems are functioning. -Ensure secure communications protocols are followed, including encrypted messaging, secure devices, and travel-related cyber hygiene. -Manage and optimize security operations infrastructure, travel risk management, threat monitoring, and incident response capabilities to safeguard personnel and assets globally. -Established network of contacts within global law enforcement, intelligence, and corporate security communities. -Develop and execute comprehensive protection strategies for the CEO and other executives as required, including travel risk assessments, route planning, and venue security. -Plan and manage secure travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation. -Collaborate with corporate security and intelligence teams to proactively mitigate risks. -Conduct protective advances at known or anticipated locations the CEO will visit, including hotels, offices, airports, and event venues. -Conduct advance site visits and liaise with venue and event security teams. -Assess physical security, emergency response capabilities, and local threat environments. -Conduct route reconnaissance and establish alternate routes in case of disruptions or threats. -Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of physical security systems across operational locations worldwide. -Provide close protection during travel, public appearances, and high-profile events. -Draft and submit detailed protective operations orders for each movement, event, or travel itinerary involving the CEO. -Maintain a low profile while ensuring high visibility of security presence when necessary. -Coordinate with local law enforcement, private security, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless security coverage. -Collaborate on digital footprint reduction and social media monitoring for threat indicators. -Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment with global security objectives and continuous improvement of operational practices. -Ensure all stakeholders receive and acknowledge the orders prior to execution. -Serve as a key contributor to the Global Security team, supporting strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence across enterprise-wide security programs, systems, and response protocols. -Prepare detailed advance reports including floor plans, ingress/egress routes, medical facilities, and local contacts. -Supervise the deployment of Executive Protection (EP) vendors, ensuring they are properly vetted, licensed, trained, and equipped.

-Familiarity with Otis’s global footprint and industry-specific risks. -Strong operational knowledge of international threat environments, travel risk management, and coordination with foreign protective resources. -Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours. -Experience managing international travel and security operations. -Excellent judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to interact with leadership. -Ability to manage security programs domestically and internationally. -Executive Protection Training with a Fortune 500 company or U.S. Government protective detail experience. -Ability to work independently and adapt to rapidly changing environments. -Minimum 10 years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or corporate security. -Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field. -Certified in defensive driving, first aid/CPR, and crisis response.
