Tasks

-Maintain good housekeeping in work area. -Will be expected to read blue prints and gauge parts. Must use measurement devices such as a tape measure. -Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers. -Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship. -Observe all departmental safety requirements.

What You Bring

-Must be able to operate a variety of machinery (including, but not limited to a press, roll form, lock seam, and crimp) to produce a heater jacket. -Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs. -Must be able to accurately complete monthly reports and scrap reports. -Must be able to work the strip down area and disassemble heaters for salvage. -Work from written or verbal orders. -The following abilities will be tested: Lift truck. -Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively during shift. -Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend, twist/turn, reach, push/pull. -Must be able to safely operate a lift truck. -Must be able to work with returns and complete proper paperwork as well as coordinate return of parts to material control, boiler and heater departments. -May be under frequent strain due to body position and unsupported lifting. -Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs. -Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. -Must be able to read, write and do simple arithmetic. -High School Diploma/GED. -Must be able to perform equipment set-ups and die changes as necessary. -Must have vision skills acceptable for a lift truck license and the motor skills/climbing ability to safety board/operate the equipment.
