Coordinate loading, unloading, staging, and inventory of steel materials in yard/warehouse.

Tasks

-Inspect and verify materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance. -Coordinate the daily loading, unloading, staging, and storage of steel beams and materials. -Support warehouse receiving, stocking, and inventory accuracy. -Maintain a clean, organized yard and warehouse while promoting OSHA-compliant safety practices. -Operate forklifts, cranes, and rigging tools safely (certifications preferred). -Communicate with Production, Shipping, and Quality Control to keep materials flowing.

What You Bring

-Experience: 3+ years in a warehouse, yard, or logistics coordination role — ideally in steel, construction supply, or manufacturing. -Forklift and crane operation (certifications a plus) -Strong communication and organization -Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferred. -Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. -PPE required: hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, high-visibility vest. -Team-oriented mindset and safety awareness -Keen eye for detail and quality -ERP/inventory software knowledge
