Develop relationships and collaboratively partner with internal stakeholders to assess legal and business risks and support the implementation of suitable mitigation remedies
Examine contracts involving design and construction projects, leases, insurance, corporate governance etc.
Provide legal advice to the organization
Work closely with other departments to foresee and protect company against legal risks
Prepare reports, guidelines and participates in the management of legal actions

Capable of managing multiple projects at a time and successfully to completion.
Minimum of five years of legal experience, preferably in a engineering and construction law practice or corporate legal department for same.
Service oriented mindset.
Demonstrated growth in leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams, take initiative in complex legal matters, mentor colleagues, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Excellent presentation skills
Team player with good business acumen and problem-solving skills
Willing to travel 15 to 20 percent.
Ability to research and provide guidance on compliance related issues throughout the company
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
Experience with the preparation, review, and negotiation of design and construction contracts
Juris Doctor Degree, licensed to practice law in applicable state(s)
Experience with managing and resolving engineering and construction disputes and litigation
Excellent writing, communication and problem-solving skills
