The Role

Tasks

-Manage the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records -Handles career changes, progressive discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with Company policy -Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to territory management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). -Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. -Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units and contributes to organizational projects and initiatives -Manage key HR activities including workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management with measurable outcomes in mind. -Continuously assess and enhance culture and engagement by identifying and implementing solutions that improve engagement, reinforce organizational values, and build a thriving workplace. -Maintains comprehensive knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies and employment laws to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. -Handles employment related inquiries for applicants, employees, and managers; referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate staff -Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met -Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. -Collaborate across People Business Unit to implement tailored HR programs that address dynamic organizational needs and priorities. -Provides constructive feedback and conducts timely coaching sessions with direct reports -Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions and recommendations -Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to territory management -Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention -Trains People Support Specialists and manages processes that result in accurate and up-to-date people files, records, and documentation -Contribute to HR projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis to drive organizational success. -Establish trusted, collaborative, and responsive relationships with leaders across the organization, understanding their strategies, priorities, and goals to shape impactful HR programs and priorities that align with Power’s core values. -Support initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction -Recruits, interviews, and trains People Support Territory staff -Partners with People Leadership (People Partner, Senior Director People Resources, and VP People Resources) to align People processes and practices with organizational objectives and foster cross-functional collaboration -Oversees the daily workflow of Territory People Support Departments -Coach and develop leaders to strengthen their management and leadership skills, fostering high-performing and collaborative teams. -Plans, communicates, and facilitates new hire orientation -Implement and manage performance management programs that align with Power’s high-performance culture, driving accountability and growth.

What You Bring

-Moderate travel may be required -Proficient with Apple iWork Suite -Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -4-6 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Bachelor’s degree preferred -Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy -Strong ability to manage change and guide others through it -Proficient with the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications -Strong ability to build business acumen to drive effective HR collaboration -SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
