Principal Information Management Specialist - Data Management

Overview

Manage engineering data warehouse, class libraries, and data reporting for projects.

Tasks

-Configure Grids for data entry. -Coordinate with engineering disciplines to resolve any data inconsistencies, errors, or mapping issues. -Provide regular reports on completeness of data set. -Configuring controlled value lists, UOMS etc. -Manage multi-location, IM data management teams. -Manage data to other applications such as AVEVA Net/Engage. -Define and develop data reports on completeness and statistics. -Define and maintain corporate/project Class Library. -Plan, direct, co-ordinate and be the focal point for all data management activities. -Define tag naming format. -Support development of Engineering key list data. -Liaise with Client and/or Construction and/or Completions team personnel to ensure commissioning/operational hand-over requirements are understood & being met. -Liaise with engineering and supply chain to ensure the completion and compliance of data submission.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of AVEVA Net, AVEVA Engage and AIM an advantage. -Class Library Management (e.g. AVEVA ISM) -SSRS, OBIEE, Power BI reporting or similar required. PML, procedural SQL etc an advantage. -Experience of using AVEVA Engineering/information standards manager (ISM), Life Cycle Server, SMARTPLANT Foundation. -A strong understanding, experience and expertise in the management of Engineering Data Warehouse and Class Library (AVEVA Engineering or Hexagon Smartplant Foundation toolset). -An understanding of relational database applications to analyse, manipulate and transfer data. -University degree qualification or equivalent oil and gas industry experience. -Demonstrate strong understanding of IM and Data Management concepts i.e. Data Class Libraries, Interfaces with Engineering Applications etc -Working knowledge of CFIHOS or other equivalent class libraries. -Experience in an Engineering, Designer or information management role.
