Oversee and manage electrical test team operations, quality and delivery.

Tasks

-Manage Overtime, annual leave, sick pay approval requests. -Complete Annual reviews. -Adhering to health, safety and environmental policies always. -Assisting the Production manager in Managing Project Progress. -Manage Block release / paperwork of apprentices if & when required. -Managing the day-to-day activities of the Electrical test team. -Liaising with Engineering and Design to ensure adherence to quality expectations. -Manage Recruitment needs. -Keeping the test team informed on delivery dates, process improvements, training requirements etc. -Liaising with other teams to assist the Test Team in meeting targets. -Mentoring and Coaching of Test team members. -Involvement in developing Lean initiatives, process improvements and SOP’s -Manage Training. -Manage KPI’s / Output targets. -Improving onsite service delivery processes and policies and preparation of methodology statements. -Ensuring that customer expectations are met. -Attend meetings, daily, weekly as requested with clear up to date data.

What You Bring

Are you an experienced, trained Team Leader who has experience working in a medium or high voltage electrical systems environment? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing -Experience of Lean Manufacturing processes -Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SS, proficient etc -Hold a QQI Level 6 qualification or greater -Quality driven with excellent attention to detail to ensure the best-in-class product -Excellent Knowledge of switchgear manufacturing and electrical schematics -Prior management training -Ability to work closely with onsite, in-house and business partner teams. -Experience in team management -H&S compliance / uniform boots etc. -5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role -Excellent organisational and communication skills -Ability to travel nationally as required -Excellent troubleshooting abilities
