Tasks

-Mentor and develop junior staff -Serve as a technical specialist and use knowledge and skill set to provide advice and guidance to project teams. -Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems and applicable engineering codes and standards. -Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects -Preparing calculations and develop civil engineering deliverables (models, drawings and reports) whilst adhering to project budgets, schedules and quality systems. -Prepare a variety of complex civil engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects. -Providing guidance to others and support continuous improvement -Develop specifications for the identification, collection and management of data for engineering work. -Develop recommendations for materials and construction techniques.

What You Bring

-Experience in design and build -Be fully conversant and comply with all aspects of health & safety duties of Designers -Knowledge & Experience in the design and checking of non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works design -Ability to lead and manage a team of civil engineers and associated specialists (structural, geotechnical and hydraulics) and to interface with other disciplines in the production of engineering deliverables -Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural background
