Tasks

-Ensures all issues over the shift are communicated to the next shift on shift change-over in a smooth and efficient manner -Ensure that the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance man-hours. -Building Management Systems (BMC/QBMS/MCS/ECS/EMS) -Be fully aware of the terms of the site IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention Control) licence and ensure that all actions/operations on site are within the terms. -Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines -Ensure that all work permits are signed as area owner by the relevant shift members -Manage the execution of the utilities maintenance program and organisation structure in order to achieve and sustain optimum reliability, maintainability, useful life, and life cycle cost for utilities assets. -Ensures that all utilities equipment in his charge for the duration of shift is available at all times. Any equipment deviations are reported in the first instance as per the site escalation process. -Liaise closely with the site MV Controller -Update stores spare lists as appropriate -Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements; -Supervision of vendors and sub-contractors on site; -Maximise maintenance wrench time utilisation through effective planning. -Keep training current in line with client's requirements, i.e. SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), EWI's (Engineering Work Instructions), etc -Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data using published maintenance excellence KPI results, areas that will be reviewed and improvements sought: -Ensure that the minimum shift numbers are maintained at all times. -Responsible for the delivery of the Shift Expectations document -To Assist Maintenance Departments with Planned and unplanned Shutdowns. -Develop long term (5 year) life cycle costing for asset replacement plans (equipment moving towards end of life) -Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment. -Carryout Investigations on Utilities Equipment, identify problem areas and assist in improvement procedures -To Liaise and Work with the team on all Utilities Equipment -Maintenance and trouble-shooting of all client electrical systems -All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) rules and guidelines -Implement and participate in utilities reliability programs as per the Global Reliability Program (GRP). -Assist in the update of Utilities Standard Operating Procedures and ensure Training is carried out with Operations Teams. -Troubleshooting / repair of Electrical systems

If you are a non-EU/EEA national , you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland. -Experience with Facility Start Up. -- MTTR -Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems. -Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical engineering. -- MTBF -Ability to read and understand P&ID's. -Understanding of SOP's and GMP Engineering systems. -Professional and courteous interaction with client -- PM:CM ratio -Work within a documented Permit to Work System -Computer literate -Good problem solving and trouble shooting ability. -Understanding of Basic Instrumentation -Electrical, 2 years minimum and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems.
