Design and draft electrical systems for various projects using AutoCAD & Revit

Tasks

-Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules -Carry out and assist with field reviews and field data collection -Participate in internal and external project meetings -Adhere to project budgets and objectives -Coordinate with other design disciplines -Attend project meetings with Clients and other design team members -Assist in the preparation of cost estimates -Assist in the preparation of reports and specifications -Reviewing shop drawings -Assist in developing, planning, organizing, and carrying the design of various electrical projects using AutoCAD and Revit.

What You Bring

-Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, bilingual (French) would be an asset -Understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, communication and lighting design -Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit -Knowledge of MS Office Suite for documentation and reporting -Eligibility or enrollment with Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador or registered as a Professional Technologist (P.Tech) -2-5 years of experience in electrical design, drafting, or fieldwork; experience in Commercial, Municipal and Industrial is an asset -Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards -Project management tasks- project management experience would be an asset for an Intermediate position -Valid Driver’s License -Strong organizational skills that will allow you to work on numerous projects concurrently, and update reoccurring tasks -Ability to work in a team environment -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University or; Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician from an accredited institution -Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AGI32, SKM, or similar) -High level of integrity and work ethic
