Tasks

The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests as certified by Mistras Services written practices to routine NDT methods. Inspects piping, tanks and vessels using the method of Radiography. -Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition. -Perform to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. -Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer. -Organize and report the results of NDT tests. -Perform piping/vessel inspections in a lay down yard (Fab Shop) using Radiography and report findings.

What You Bring

Mistras Group is seeking full time LVL II RT technicians for our Auburn, MA location. -12 months prior NDT experience required. -Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. -Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job-training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I personnel. -High school diploma or GED -Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.
