Tasks

-Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. -Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features, best practices, and industry trends and incorporate them into the development and maintenance process. -Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create data models for reporting and analysis. -Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. -Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI -Establish and enforce data management best practices, including data quality, data integration, and data governance. -Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision making. -Work with the Transformation Team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop meaningful metrics and visualizations. -Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. -Deploy solutions using an agile project management methodology -Develop ad-hoc queries and reports to support business users' data analysis needs. -Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. -Lead design and development of data models, ETL processes, and data visualization components. -Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to understand BI needs, collect requirements, and design effective solutions

What You Bring

-Proficient in SQL with solid experience working with relational databases. -Strong proficiency in data visualization principles, with the ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights. -Microsoft certifications in Power BI Data Analytics or Power Platform are highly desirable. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the transformation team members and other stakeholders. -Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer or in a similar role, with a strong track record in designing and developing BI solutions. -Self-driven and proactive, capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. -Advanced expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques. -Experience in data management, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database administration. -Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. -Ability to manage through ambiguity where lines of ownership aren't always clear -Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles. -Microsoft Fabric certification is preferred
