Electrical engineer planning transmission and distribution systems, substations, and DG studies.

Tasks

-Supervision of subcontractors and/or consultants doing work similar -Performs analysis in support of the Company strategy regarding grid -Pre-liminary Engineering design and creation of project estimates -Work closely with the Companys Substation Engineering, Power System -Review solar developer documents forcompleteness and updated -Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of existing and -Study the distribution system to identify current and future needs -Work closely with System Operations to determine system capabilities -Work with various consulting firms to initiate and review DG project -Build and update the Distribution System model using CYME software -Prepare or coordinate the preparation of periodic data submittals -Compilation of electrical system data, statistical reports, and -Interact with area field personnel, providing Engineering oversight -Support of Distributed Generation nd utilize CYME software,GIS
