Overview

Manage and maintain CPM construction schedules, analyze critical paths, and report progress.

Tasks

-Coordinate and assist in the development of project schedule narratives -Interface with clients, owners and representatives -Lead project teams through proper setup and maintenance of schedules -Maintain careful documentation of all schedule submittals so that any requests for time adjustments can be accurately measured -Lead the development of baseline CPM construction schedules -Evaluate project risk using the Earned Value Management system. -Assess impacts to the critical path and near critical path -Walk and review work on the jobsite -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Communicates findings to project team -Perform or assist with forward looking Time Impact Analysis following contract requirements or industry recommended practices -Read and interpret construction drawings, job specifications and contracts -Update schedules monthly and develop what-if schedules -Identify and report on variations in the schedule in a timely manner -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Develop and prepare progress reports for each assigned project -Provide schedule metric analysis -Assist in bid schedule creation per client requirements

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficient in developing and analyzing schedules in Primavera P6 -Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team -Open to change and new information, able to adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles -Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred. Technical training or related experience will also be considered. -This role may require a facility-specific clearance that requires U.S Citizenship to obtain. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -PSP, PMP or comparable certification is a benefit -5-7+ years’ construction scheduling experience, including three years of proven leadership experience directing scheduling function -Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite and Primavera P6 -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Ability to travel and relocate is required -Regular, reliable attendance -Strong attention to detail; ability to recognize discrepancies -Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel etc -Basic legal principles as they relate to scheduling
