Manages purchasing, contracts, bids, and vendor relations for construction projects.

Tasks

-Prices out all addendum requests for price. -May conduct subcontractor orientations. -May supervise vendor set-ups. -Negotiates, closes, produces and follows up on subcontractor and vendor contracts. -Sets up rebate schedule for each job. -Performs cost per square foot and budget comparisons. -Prepares closing cost information. -Organizes and maintains material bids and takeoffs for each product; maintains bid books. -May monitor and distribute blueprints. -Prepares Purchase Orders and cost sheets for job starts; generates all POs and UPOs. -Maintains contract options (cost and retail).
