Lead daily tower welding crew ensuring safety, quality, and project goals.

Tasks

-Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership -Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew -You recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency -Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites -Always maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition -Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort. -Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew -Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces. -Validate daily timesheets for Management. -Serve as a mentor to new less experienced technicians -Coordinate with customer representative for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with a customer representative. -Provide leadership, and guidance and actively train/promote learning to all crew members

What You Bring

-You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work -Must be able to provide, record and manage paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.) -You have the ability to maintain FDOT log books training will be provided -Owning a WSA certification is a plus -Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group (MNS) Health Safety and Environmental Policies. (Safety Manual). -Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours -You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality -You possess job-related certifications-First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment -You must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions -Must have structural Mod experience -You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW -You demonstrate expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge. -Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI) -You have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience -Must be fit and in good physical condition -Must have Welding experience (Industrial) -You have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) -You have a working knowledge of safety standards and regulations. -You have the ability to lead, teach and train proper work and safety procedures -You have organizational, computer, and communication skills
