Tasks

-Maintain professional licensure in New York and be responsible for supervising production of construction documents, studies, and reports. -Maintain relationship with clients to ensure satisfaction with JMT services. -Responsible for the overall profitability and financial performance of the office. -Serve as JMT’s executive leader in the NYC Metro market, leading the collaboration, development and implementation of our strategic plan, and building, inspiring and supporting outstanding teams. -Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team. -Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the firm’s policies and applicable laws. -Collaborate with JMT Regional and Corporate Managers to support work-share and business development efforts. -Oversight and development of proposals, procurement schedules and business development activities in collaboration with marketing staff. -Forecast administrative staffing, and facility needs for office. -Interview, hire, train, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems. -Seal/sign construction documents as appropriate. -Maintain existing and develop new clients. Special interests include, but are not limited to, NYSDOT Regions 10 & 11, PANYNJ, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, MTA, and NYCHA. -Monitor and manage project financials, including project performance and invoicing. -Manage contracts and provide oversight of Project Managers. -Ensure the assignment of staff resources is coordinated with regional offices. -Review the design and production work of the staff to ensure that it meets the highest professional standards and is in conformance with company standards, including ISO:9001-2015.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering -Registered Professional Engineer in New York (a New Jersey PE License would be a plus) -20+ years of industry experience including supervisory, project management, and business development.
