Tasks

-Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs for architectural elements. -Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline and other engineering disciplines. -As directed, coordinate or provide technical direction to other architects or designers. -Assist with code reviews and generate code compliance reports/ drawings. -Ensure compliance with quality requirements. -Coordinates technical issues with customers and construction. -Preparation of original architectural designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for buildings Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the architectural work. -Prepare procurement and subcontract requisition documents -Review design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, and drawings.

What You Bring

-Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university. -Registered Architect in the United States or the ability to obtain in 12 months. -Understanding of engineering planning and control methods. -Knowledge the practices and procedures of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, IBC, and LEED Rating System. -Experience with developing CSI MasterFormat specifications or SpecsIntact. -Level 1: BS degree in Architecture, from an accredited university, with at least 6 years of relevant experience or in lieu of a degree 12 years of relevant professional experience. -Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. -Experience with producing a full, well-coordinated, detailed set of architectural construction documents. -Demonstrated graphic presentation skills. -Experience in the design of Nuclear facilities. -Proficient with Autodesk design suite (e.g. Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD) to originate 3D model content and produce design deliverables in a multidisciplinary model environment. -Communicates complex technical issues -Knowledge of technical issues and costs related to the selection of design features and unique architectural requirements. -Experience coordinating a multi-discipline design team. -Skilled in oral and written communication. -Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Sketchup. -Knowledgeable in the principles of Systems Engineering. -US citizenship or legal resident. -For Revit be capable of Family creation and modification, Parameter adding and modification, producing and modifying schedules, working with clash detection, modeling and architectural detailing and working and coordinating with multiple software programs to create Revit models -Experienced with architectural design, production techniques, building materials, and construction methods or development of project deliverables.
