Electrical Technician

Overview

Electrical Technician performs wiring, testing, and assembly in a manufacturing setting.

Tasks

-Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements. -Pull electric cable and lay it out in cable tray. -Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. -Assist with organizing materials and equipment. -Cut, bend, and install conduit per electrical specifications. -Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using multimeters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. -Assist in the assembly of pre-welded piping flanged spools, valves, SS tubing, pipe stands, and threaded piping/fittings. -Assist pulling electric cable and laying out in cable tray. -Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete wiring of electrical systems.

What You Bring

-Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate. -Familiar with safe and productive use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment. -Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities. -Reaching overhead while working on a ladder while maintaining three points of contact. -Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy. -Knowledge of the National Electric Code is helpful but not required. -4 years of electrical experience is required. -Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. -Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contact -High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience is required. -A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. -Must comply with Roeslein & Method Flow's core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees. -Lift up to 15 pounds above your head often while working on a ladder while maintaining three points of contact. -Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment. -Must be willing to learn how to analyze prints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems. -Must follow good housekeeping practices. -Automation and Instrumentation -Ability to work flexible hours including overtime. -Must be able to kneel and work on knees. -Must follow training and company procedures. -Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts is preferred.
