Grain Settlement Clerk

Overview

Ensures accurate, timely settlement of grain transactions and reconciliations.

Tasks

-Applying payments or credit memos to specific invoices or other transactions -Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth settlement process -Maintain accurate records and documentation such as: -Filing and scanning of documents on shared drive -Preparation, review and analysis of various reports, including the daily position report, hedge position report and reconciliation report -Investigating and resolving discrepancies in trade or cash transactions -Working with all plants on any Agris related accounting requirements -Processing settlement reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness

What You Bring

-Experience with Agris software preferred but not required -Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job -High level of integrity and accountability in financial transactions -Inbound/outbound ticket reconciliation of ScaleTrac to Agris -Experience with Microsoft Office and internet based applications -1 - 3 years experience in accounting, settlements grain merchandising, or agribusiness or other grain related experience preferred -Associates degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business or related field desired -Strong customer service skills, etc. -Strong oral and written communication skills -Valid Driver's License
