Tasks

-Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. -Collaboration with Other JLL Vendors and Client stakeholders within the operations to provide client a one team approach to service delivery. -Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and skill sets. -Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for optimization. -Review operational costs, negotiate contracts with vendors, and manage vendor relationships. -Implement and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. -Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts. -Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including contingency plans for power outages, natural disasters, and other potential disruptions. -Manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical facility systems, including power, cooling and fire suppression. -Prepare and manage the operations budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. -Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving requirements and ensure the data centre meets their needs. -Assess and mitigate risks associated with data centre operations to ensure business continuity. -Ensure compliance with Life Sciences industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. -Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching and development opportunities, and conduct regular performance evaluations. -Act as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters, addressing their concerns, and managing expectations. -Ensure compliance with equipment manufacturer's recommendations, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. -Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers responsible for the operations.

What You Bring

-C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds. -C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing and certification. -Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training) -Strong leadership and team management skills. -HV Authorised Person (Experienced with HV Systems) -Proven experience in data centre operations management, preferably in a mission-critical environment. -Familiarity with data centre management software and monitoring tools. -Thorough understanding of Complex Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Laboratory and office infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and security systems. -Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (Successfully completed apprenticeship in either)
