Overview

Operate benching and surface prep on castings, ensure quality and inspection compliance.

Tasks

-Performing improvement analysis and basic or defined maintenance operations with maintenance technicians or external service providers. -Preparing castings to be visually inspected. -Using Mercury to verify serial numbers, adjusting machines, performing troubleshooting, and maintaining the quality of the parts produced. -Setting up and operating benching procedures on castings using basic tools like die grinders, tool belts, buffing wheels, blast cabinets, and auxiliary equipment.

What You Bring

-Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. -Minimum of High School Diploma or GED is required. -Experience with inspection Equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) is a plus. -This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law. -One or more years of experience using hand tools, a background with plastics or ceramics extrusions or injection/blow mold is a plus. -Able to perform math functions using the metric system and read engineering instructions.
