Tasks

-Assists the Chief Pilot in ensuring all flights and flight crew members adhere to relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. -Identifies opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency within flight operations. Implements new technologies, training programs, or best practices to enhance productivity and safety. -The Captain carries primary responsibility for the safe transportation of passengers and additional crewmembers and emphasizes a strong safety culture within the Transportation Department. Participates in safety meetings, incident debriefings, and implements safety recommendations. Complies with all security protocols to protect passengers, crew, and the aircraft, and remains prepared to handle emergency situations in flight or on the ground. Maintains a working knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan and applies the correct initial response actions during emergency drills or actual emergencies. -Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the CRM for all business development activities -Participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) by complying with all regulations, safety best practices, and industry protocols. Utilizes the Safety Report process, Continuous Improvement process, and other procedures to ensure a healthy safety culture exists within the Transportation Department. -May be assigned additional duties within the Transportation Department to train and evaluate flight crew members, including pilots and other operational personnel. Provides technical guidance and support, oversees training programs and records, offers ongoing coaching and feedback, conducts performance evaluations, and fosters a positive work environment.

What You Bring

-4 years of experience as a corporate, commercial, or military pilot -Bachelor's degree -Knowledge of the content of the Aviation Operations Manual, Training Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and the provisions of Titles 14 and 49 of the CFRs and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position -Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds to shoulder level due to baggage loading and unloading requirements -Holds a type rating for at least one of the following types of aircraft: DA-2EASY or G-VII -Must maintain PIC qualifications on at least one type of company aircraft -Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot License and a valid Instrument Rating for the category of aircraft operated
