Tasks

-Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification. -Manage strategic programmes for OHL modernisation, storm resilience, and other critical initiatives. -Oversee contractor engagement and programme delivery without compromising safety or quality. -Contribute to long-term network planning and regulatory performance targets. -Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety legislation. -Lead and develop a team of Senior Engineers to deliver high-quality network designs and programmes. -Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and solutions, supported by cost-benefit analysis.

What You Bring

-Strong project/programme management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives. -Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at all levels. -Engineering or project/programme management background within the utilities, energy, or construction sectors. -Proven experience managing, motivating, and developing teams to deliver business outputs. -Ability to manage competing priorities using sound engineering and financial judgment. -Knowledge of the regulatory environment, including output and incentive mechanisms. -Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer service, efficient network design, and maximum return on investment.
