The Role
Overview
Assist in implementing and maintaining safety program across regional construction sites

Tasks
-Collaborate with project teams to ensure completion of pre-task documentation, including: -Maintain company-wide safety policies and develop job-specific safety plans. -Maintain safety documentation such as OSHA logs, safety meeting records, and training certifications. -Coordinate with superintendents to plan safe means and methods for high-risk activities (e.g., scaffolding, formwork, heavy lifting, and concrete work). -Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of PPE and fall protection systems. -Monitor subcontractors' safety compliance and coordinate site-wide safety efforts. -Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports and lead root cause analyses. -Participate in JSA (Job Safety Analysis) reviews and Jobsite Gym activities. -Stay current on local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry best practices. -Conduct regular job site visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. -Perform hazard assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce risk. -Attend internal and external safety trainings as required. -Attend corporate safety meetings and lead preconstruction safety meetings.

What You Bring
-Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to job sites. -Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. -Experience with high-risk construction activities (e.g., concrete forming, scaffolding, trenching, demolition). -OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. -Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. -Construction safety experience preferred, particularly in concrete, finish and rough carpentry, and masonry. -Must be a self-starter with excellent time management abilities. -Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. -Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards. -Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills — a strong, visible presence is essential in this role. -Demonstrated ability to enhance processes and create efficiencies. -High level of professional ethics and integrity. -Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
