Pipefitter - Process Piping

Overview

Install & maintain process piping, perform orbital welding and plastic fusion in cGMP settings.

Tasks

-Conduct system pressure testing and validation activities. -Ensure all piping installations are clean, precise, and compliant with cGMP requirements. -Orbital welding of stainless steel tubing. -Perform orbital welding with precision in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. -Fabricate, install, and maintain process piping systems including stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping. -Maintain detailed records of work performed, including weld logs and as-built drawings. -Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications. -Maintain safe working conditions following all OSHA, site-specific, and cGMP safety protocols. -Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and QA/QC staff to ensure seamless project execution. -Conduct butt fusion of plastic piping systems according to approved procedures.

What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen. -Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter. -Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting. -OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred). -Working in regulated cleanroom or cGMP environments. -Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process schematics. -Previous experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or chemical manufacturing facilities. -Demonstrated experience in: -Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Professional communication skills and a safety-first mindset. -Certification in orbital welding (preferred but not required). -Butt fusion of HDPE and other plastic piping materials.
