Tasks

This position leads the management, review, and negotiation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and battery storage projects. The role ensures all agreements align with company objectives, risk appetite, and financial targets, while supporting operational sustainability and compliance with lenders’ requirements. -Negotiate and finalise O&M and LTSA contracts with asset owners and equipment manufacturers. -Oversee implementation of signed agreements, ensuring compliance and resolution of disputes or performance issues. -Secure favourable terms regarding cost, performance obligations, and termination flexibility. -Monitor supplier and partner performance to safeguard company interests. -Maintain oversight of contract risk exposure and report regularly to senior management. -Adhere to all internal security, quality, health, and safety policies, and participate in related audits and initiatives. -Work with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure agreements minimise risk and meet performance, financial, and strategic goals. -Review past agreements to identify lessons learned and enhance future negotiation strategies. -Identify and assess risks in active and proposed agreements, recommending mitigation or transfer strategies. -Liaise with external partners, legal advisors, and internal teams to maintain consistency and transparency across projects. -Contribute to improving contract templates, processes, and risk frameworks. -Act as a key advisor during negotiations, ensuring internal alignment and protecting commercial interests. -Provide contractual guidance to internal teams and support in drafting formal responses or amendments.

What You Bring

Contract Management (Post-award) Contract Development and Negotiation (Pre-award) -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline. -Strong legal, commercial, and risk management skills. -5+ years’ experience in contract or commercial management, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities. -Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities. -Proven expertise in negotiating O&M and LTSA contracts with equipment manufacturers and asset owners.
