Tasks

-Attend Eichleay project team meetings. -Manage schedules. -Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer perform scope development and create technical specifications for electrical equipment and modifications. -Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer performing load calculations, voltage drop, conduit/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design -Candidates will be required to follow our clients' site based rules and protocols regarding infectious diseases. -Application of codes and standards -Coordinate with vendors. -While performing duties of this job, you would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear (this includes being able to hear and talk on site based communication equipment), distinguish between various colors, be able to hear safety tones/notifications, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, temperature or controls. -Travel: Occasionally travel to Eichleay offices and client sites across the Western US (up to 25%) -Consistently achieve goals, delivering quality and accurate work and meet project schedules. -Prepare material requisitions for bid and technical bid evaluation, including reviewing of specifications of equipment, and responding to vendor submittals.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in developing one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and performing load calculations, voltage drop, conduit/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design -Software skills -Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issues. Address issues as necessary to ensure zero harm to all employees clients, and contractors with zero environmental incidents. -TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain. -RSO Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain. -Experience in the development of electrical specifications and calculations. -Bachelors or better in Engineering -Research skills -Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, API, and IEEE standards for hazardous locations. -Quick learner -Ability to assemble electrical engineering, drawing and construction work packages for review and approval, that may include one-line diagrams, wiring schematics and other required electrical deliverables. -Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -Presentation skills -Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. -Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification. -Attention to detail -Working towards the passing of Fundamentals of Engineering exam is expected. -Collaboration: Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within Eichleay and with clients and partners. -Critical thinking -Under the direction of a Senior Electrical Engineer, become familiar with site, global and industry electrical standards and electrical safety, including NEC, IEEE, API, and NFPA 70E and 497. -Experience working onsite at a refinery or similar industrial facility. -Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain. -Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and working experience with AutoCAD/NavisWorks. RevitMEP experience is desired. -Participation in random drug and alcohol program. -Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and project management in a team environment. -Experience: 1 to 5 years experience in Refinery or other oil and gas related industries. -Time management -Education: Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. -Computer skills -Experience with low and medium voltage systems is desirable.

-Location: This position is based out of our Billings MT office location. Occasional onsite field visits to work closely with our onsite team and our clients will be required. Periodic work from home is acceptable with approval of your supervisor. -Work package
