Tasks

-They will manage and coordinate project audits and surveillances of plans and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards and requirements. The PQM will leading causal analysis and corrective action to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. -They are responsible for identifying, delivering and assuring the successful quality targets for this project. They will work to assure that the programme is delivered in compliance with the customer’s requirements and will work with the project team to maintain standards across the Project. -They will provide training and support on best practices and continual improvement and promote a quality culture across the project. -The Project Quality Manager is accountable for the quality assurance strategy and the delivery of quality activities.

What You Bring

-Suitably Qualified Experienced Person (SQEP) with in-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements across infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity -Collaborative communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a range of stakeholders across the organisation· -Process driven with excellent attention to detail· -Candidates will have or must be able to obtain an SC security clearance. -Strong leadership and influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in and outside of the Project to actively promote Bechtel Quality and Nuclear Safety Quality Cultures. -Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and relevant years or relevant work experience . -Excellent presentation, training and reporting skills· -The role is co-located with the client and design consultant in Warrington, Cheshire, UK. There is a requirement to work a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from the project office with the flexibility to work two days per week from home or a Bechtel office. Occasional travel to the project site location (Capenhurst) is also required. -This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. -Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, or Six Sigma/Lean) and implementation of process improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams· -Experience of auditing, assessments, reporting and management of subsequent corrective actions·
