Tasks

-To raise any necessary invoice or credit notes on customer accounts -Resolve customer queries regarding payments and invoice queries as quickly and efficiently as possible -Chase outstanding balances by phoning, e-mailing, sending letters, issuing statements etc -To meet monthly cash collection targets set by the Credit Control Manager to reduce company debt and debtor days -Work alongside the Sales team and Client Services team to manage and restructure customer accounts -Issue letters to companies whose accounts are overdue, with next steps if payment is not made by deadlines -Liaise with all other departments, including working closely with the Sales team to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times -General administration of accounts including updating customer contacts, addresses and PO numbers

What You Bring

-Experience of dealing with a high volume of customer accounts -Strong organisational skills -The ability to manage difficult conversations, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with customers -Good knowledge of Excel -Strong problem solving skills -Previous experience in a Credit Controller position is essential -Excellent communication skills over the phone and in writing -Able to work to set deadlines
