Tasks
-Track production rates, quantities, field reports, and daily logs to maintain accuracy on schedule and cost targets. -Lead coordination with engineers, geotechnical teams, specialty foundation contractors, and project managers to proactively identify and resolve issues. -Oversee daily field operations for heavy civil and foundation work, including deep foundations (driven piles, drilled shafts, caissons, ground improvement), mass excavation, grading, and utility installation. -Manage concrete activities including formwork, layering/sequencing, large-volume pours, slabs, and structural elements related to civil scope. -Mentor field leaders and build strong, high-performing crews. -Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, site logistics, and sequencing to keep the project on schedule. -Ensure all work adheres to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. -Conduct site walks, inspections, and quality checks to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Heavy Civil Superintendent – Deep Foundations & Concrete (Commercial/Industrial) We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on a major commercial/industrial project involving deep foundations, heavy concrete work, grading, utilities, and site infrastructure. This role requires a superintendent with strong technical expertise in complex civil scopes and the leadership ability to manage large crews, subcontractors, and high-stakes schedules. -Excellent leadership, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. -Strong commitment to safety and quality. -Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and geotechnical drawings. -Proven success supervising large commercial or industrial projects with significant civil scopes. -Strong technical knowledge of foundation systems, earthwork, site utilities, and concrete sequencing. -8–15+ years of heavy civil construction experience with a strong background in deep foundations and complex concrete operations.
