The Role

Overview

Manage electrical projects, overseeing design, budgets, and client coordination.

Tasks

-Assist and train under experienced engineers & estimators -Participate in the proposal process and meetings as needed -Preform project management duties for assigned projects -Track and create progress billing reports for all aspects of assigned projects. -Working with electrical schematics and blueprints for projects -Communicate and coordinate with other project partners. (Sub contractors, architects, engineers, code enforcement agencies, city municipalities, etc.) -Visits sites as needed -Serve as point of contact to clients, providing clear, effective, efficient, and timely communication on all project related issues and ensure client satisfaction. -Learn the use software such as ACAD, REVIT, BlueBeam, and ConEst -Manage submittals, drawings, budgets and reports for assigned projects. -Work with construction field leadership to ensure on-schedule, with in budget completion

What You Bring

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for working alongside estimators, engineers and construction staff to provide project management services for General Contractors. Using customer service & coordination to ensure successful project completion within budget & production schedules. Requires using knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or other low & medium voltage systems along with compliance of the National Electrical Code. *Completion of Culture Index Survey Required, link below can be used for submission* -A Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Preferred) -Knowledge of NEC & how to navigate. -Experience using Software like Auto Cad & Revit -Demonstrate strong communication, organization and customer relation skills. -Previous field electrical experience is a plus but not required. -Knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or other low & medium voltage systems -Commercial Electrical Experience: 5 year (Preferred) -In pursuit of EIT, FE, or PE certification (Training/Test Reimbursement offered) -Repetitive motion consistent with computer work -Construction Experience: 2 year (Preferred)
