Vehicle and Plant Technician

Overview

Repair and maintain vehicle and plant fleet to ensure safety, reliability and compliance.

Tasks

-Raise work orders, process inspection/service reports, and order parts from app -Minimise equipment downtime and de-fleet vehicles and plant as required. -Inspect vehicles to Department of Transport standards. -Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and plant. -Comply with Health and Safety requirements at all times.

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams and external suppliers. -City & Guilds qualification in light & heavy vehicle mechanics. -Awareness of environmental issues and ability to operate plant and machinery safely. -Computer literate, with experience using fleet management systems. -Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and plant. -Ability to make cost-effective decisions while maintaining safety.
