The Role

Overview

Plan, schedule, and manage plant maintenance using CMMS, coordinating tasks and reporting.

Tasks

-Collaborate with various plant teams to ensure timely scheduling and execution of work orders, ensuring all CMMS documentation is complete and accurate. -Screen incoming work orders to identify the scope of work, required resources, and safety risks, planning accordingly to accommodate needs and mitigate risks. -Ensure all legacy plant equipment is assigned an asset ID and criticality level, and that new equipment is assigned the same prior to or immediately upon installation. -Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to assist in managing the maintenance team, including after-action, utilization, safety, PM compliance, and work order backlog reports. -Proactively coordinate all major preventative, proactive, and project maintenance activities within the maintenance team and across the plant, while tracking all reactive maintenance efforts.

What You Bring

-Very strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. -A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree (or higher) is preferred. -Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, along with excellent computer and data analysis skills. -Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). -This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. -A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent technical background. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
