Tasks

-Develop, review, amend, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures related to facility maintenance operations and building management. -Ensure that facility structures and systems remain in compliance with various federal and State regulatory agencies. Ensure that any deficiencies are addressed/remediated in as expeditious a manner as possible. -Provide direction and overall supervision of lower-level Plant Superintendents, Maintenance Supervisors, or Building Managers. -Perform various fiscal tasks for the maintenance departments including determining purchasing needs related to building and maintenance of grounds, facility buildings, etc. Approve/verify purchase orders and procurement card charges. -Update and review of facility procedures and internal controls for purpose of maintaining facility accreditation. Take corrective actions as determined by the annual Internal Control audit. -Communicate with high profile building tenants to manage building operations and ensure all tenant needs are met. -Monitors the overall progress of the annual PM/R&I plan, makes changes as necessary to projects schedules and scopes. -Monitor the operations of primary building systems. Evaluate needs for building/systems improvements and make recommendations for priorities based on fiscal constraints and regulatory compliance.
